Particularly in the peak of summer, cities have worsening air quality to the point where it has become “normal” to hear air quality warnings. I was disturbed to read today that the frogs from the Tasek Chini were no longer singing. They have practically disappeared. Each summer, I visit the Chequamagon National Forest in Wisconsin. An amazingly beautiful and lush forest, this place is my sanctuary.
